Beautiful Compact Oven with Big Features

This is a beautiful somewhat compact oven with lots of functionality. It's one of the highlights when walking through our cabin's front door. Folks compliment us on the oven all the time. The controls are easy to use and intuitive. Convection feature is wonderful. The wi-fi function is nice. For example, we can pick up a pizza and we're able to preheat the oven via wi-fi. By the time we're home we can pop the pizza into the oven straight away! The oven also came with a probe and we've used it several times....it's accurate! We've owned this oven for about 2 yrs and we're glad we bought a 5-yr extended warranty. The fan went out on us after running the cleaning function and so currently waiting for a replacement fan and technician. In the meantime, we haven't been able to use our oven for about 5 wks. Also, the oven does not come out completely clean especially the glass. The oven is somewhat overpriced; we paid about $5K and now that we've owned it long enough, we'd give it about a $3,500 price tag if we had any say about it. Suggest purchasing it during a sale and also purchasing an extended warranty.

Failed within 8 months of install?

Beautiful and I loved it while it worked, but it failed within 8 months of being installed. I had an appliance repair company come out - at first they quoted me over $700 for the repair, but when they arrived with the parts, it turned out that there is another part at the back of the oven that failed, but GE doesn't have the part available, so it cannot be repaired. I purchased it over a year ago, so it looks like I am just out of luck. It is a very expensive, though very pretty, wall decoration at this point.

I have been using this oven for almost a year now. It looks stunning in our kitchen and everyone loves it, including me, the cook. We have used it to broil, bake, air fry, precision cook, all work perfectly.

I ordered this oven on-line and I didn't realize how much clearance the doors handles would require and now I can't open the oven doors wide enough to remove the racks. The racks seem to be overly complicated. I wish I hadn't bought a smart oven.

I absolutely love my cafe appliances I have the cooktop, dishwasher, and French door wall oven. Still waiting on my refrigerator (18 months). I get so many compliments on them. Love love love French door wall oven. I am in a wheelchair and it™€™s so much easier for me to use. Not leaning over a hot pull down door is so much safer. My biggest complaint is no manual. Very frustrating to use this beautiful oven with so many features and not really be able to look up what I need to use it . I have to find a way to print the manual out and I don™€™t have access to a printer. Very time consuming and difficult when your handicapped. For the price of these beautiful custom piece I really feel a manual should be included. I don™€™t need it in 7 different languages. Just English! I also have not received the oven cooking thermometer. I have requested from where I purchased but still have not received it. (6months). It™€™s a lot of money to pay for an appliance. Still beautiful and works for my needs but the book would make my life easier. Looking forward to receiving my refrigerator hopefully soon to complete my remodeled handicapped kitchen!

I'm in Heaven....really!

I love to cook and have truly missed my old home with double ovens and a gas cooktop. When we decided to remodel the kitchen, I insisted on somehow getting another oven somehow. Once I decided on the Cafe French Door single oven, some renovations to the kitchen took place to accommodate it along with the Advantium wall oven/microwave above it. I've waited over 9 months for these ovens and they have been put to use daily. I love the fact that with one hand, I can oven the oven up to full viewing using only one handle. It is wonderful to be able to walk right up to the oven to place a dish inside without bending down to place said dish into the oven. I've only had it 2 weeks and have used it several times to cook pies and casseroles. It's true test will come with the upcoming holidays!! I love everything about it so far.
