Had this product installed in my basement, it was the best solution. That said, the waste water line for the dehumidifier should have a small pump like dedicated dehumidifiers do, since it was impossible to have the waste line go below the unit itself.

Minus a few snags in getting the window seal set up, the unit has been amazing. Until my HVAC is able to be replaced, the unit has been keeping my downstairs area moderately cooled and comfortable. Quiet, doesn™™t take up too much space and doesn™™t require much effort to maintain or set up. Would definitely recommend.

Been using this for over a week now and its made my apartment a consistent 70 degrees F. Have a dehumidifier from this brand and that's been hard working so figured I would try their ac units. Only thing is the remote it comes with doesn't work that well, but its not a big deal to me. I just use it manually with the unit buttons. For reference I have a studio apartment that's about 525 square feet and it cools most of the space well.

Every representative I have spoken to just says 'Wait for UPS to call you' and they are not calling so I am just waiting not knowing what I'm supposed to do, still haven't gotten a refund yet either.

I have had two of these 3-in-1 air conditioners first one quit cooling after a couple of months with limited use which was to help cool a bedroom at night. The second one only lasted about a week when it stopped cooling. Don™™t know what the odds are that i would get two with the same problem but i wont push my luck and go for a third. If I could give it negative stars i would. Fridgidare gets one star because the remote seems to work.

I purchased this exact item and used it only one summer and kept it during winter. Itstarted to get warm in my area so i set it up and found out that my portable aircon turned to a portable heater. It™™s not blowing cold air but instead, its blows warm air. I read all the review and most of them had the same issue as mine and the only resolution frigidaire could do is to apologize and nothing else but to reach out to them so they could either convince you to buy a new one or offer an overprice cost repair. They should have atleast do something since it happened to multiple buyers. Might be some manufacturer defect on their end.i will never buy frigidaire again. I wished i listened to my friend when he warned me not to buy this brand. i would give this 0 star if i could

Ordering this product from this website has been the BIGGEST MISTAKE I have ever made. I ordered this AC unit over two months ago, a DEFECTIVE product was shipped to me of the hose not screwing on correctly to the unit and creating a gap that would therefore have made the product essentially inefficient. I reached out to the customer service department which is actually the sales team through the chat option they offer through the website. I spent an hour messaging back and forth with the representative trying to prove that the product was in fact defective despite providing numerous photos. He argued that the AC was fine because it turned on and I said the air will leak from this defective part making it essentially inefficient as an AC that will also skyrocket my energy bill. Finally, I was told a replacement unit would be sent to me in 5-7 business days. Two weeks later, after not receiving anything, I had to contact them again through the website "chat" option and go through the whole process again. I was now told that the warehouse had not released the replacement to be sent. I was then told I needed to repackage the existing defective product and they would pick it up and provide the replacement. The product originally came to me in a COMPLETELY beat up, horrible packaging job (the delivery person actually handed me a piece of the product that had fallen out of the box when he delivered it to me) that was practically only held together by plastic wires that I had obviously cut when I opened the package originally and which could not be reattached so it was on me to repackage appropriately a 100 lbs AC unit for shipping. A week later I received an email that someone was scheduled to come pick up the defective product THE NEXT DAY between 7am - 7pm and I that needed to be home. I emailed back asking if the replacement unit would be dropped off then too, and received no response. Someone came to pick up the defective product and I have STILL NOT received the replacement. I have spoken with customer service a total of 2 more times inquiring about the status and have been told both times they have requested the product to be released from the warehouse and don't know why it hasn™™t. I have spoken to customer service a total of 5 times now, it has been over 2 months since I first purchased this product and I am currently on the phone with customer service inquiring again the status of the replacement product. This has been an absolute NIGHTMARE. DO NOT ORDER PRODUCTS FROM THIS WEBSITE. And chances are if you order this product you will probably be sent the defective product I was sent.

Hello,I would like to give this AC a good review, but as of right now I have experienced poor customer support via phone and chat. I found the unit's manual to be ambiguous when researching the topic of connecting a continuous drain hose for Cool Mode. Customer support (after a long wait and escalation) told me I need to continuously drain the unit in Cool Mode, using the lower of the two drain outlets at the rear of the unit. I inquired about an adapter or fitting that would allow a solid-state connection between the tubing and the outlet and the agent told me they have no info. regarding that. In the meantime, I'm running it without draining the unit. The compressor cycles on and off more than I want while in Cool Mode set to 65 degrees. (It's currently in the mid-80s outside).

I am very pleased with the 12K BTU portable air conditioner/dehumidifier. It comes with the outside air discharge flex duct and window adapter plate. The need to discharge hot air outside requires placement near a window. A remote control is included, and the unit also connects to a cell phone with wifi.The hot air discharge outside may require a source of make-up air to the conditioned space. I am adding a piece of poly filter material at the end of the adapter plate, to control where the make-up air comes from .Perhaps the mfr. could include a filter frame that joins onto the window adapter plate, for those who can use it.The performance of the unit is excellent with very good air flow, and there is no need for a conensate drain in A/C mode. Dehumidifier operation does require a drain method. I don't think the unit has a provision for a safely cutoff for drain overflow/high level/backup. That would be a good idea for applications where property damage may occur due to drain overflow outside of the unit.I am a licensed HVAC master.

I am excited to use my portable air conditioner for the summer, due to a cold snap in our area and that I was unable to get measurements beforehand for the attachment 'oval' shape, I have not run my machine yet. Very happy overall, but there's a pretty major design flaw. The bottom of the end of the duct that connects to the window protruded downward several inches, making it impossible to install with a deep window sill. The only "solution" was to install the entire window kit upside down so that the massive protrudance faces up. This doesn't look great and also results in the window kit not properly fitting into the window frame notches as designed, probably resulting in reduced efficiency. Also, the software update has been going on for hours with no end in sight. Otherwise I'm happy so far.

I read through the instruction manual. It made the point that the refrigerant was flammable. I hooked up the unit as explained in the manual. It specifically stated unscrew the cap of continuous drain outlet which I did. I saw a small rubber hole and put the drain hose over it. I ran the unit with a bucket under the drain hose for 4 hours and I noticed the bucket was not collecting water. I took the filter screen off and noticed there was two nuts with rust on them that hold the primary motor and little deposits of water around the base of the unit. I thought maybe I should pull the back cover off but to do that I would have to take the hose off so I did. In doing this I noticed that there was a plug inside the hose. I went back over the instructions and on the side of the machine and there was not mention of a plug. Worse than that was the fact the plug has a hole in the center of it so that it looks like a drain hole. Water combined with exposed connectors and a flammable refrigerant is a recipe for disaster. I was furious. I have included a picture of the plug of which there are two. One is in the bottom drain as well.
