I received this fridge on October 17, 2025. Waited 6 weeks for it to come in. I was finally excited to have a fridge again. I love KitchenAid and have purchased other major/small appliances from them and have been a fan of their products for many years.
I was disappointed when this fridge finally came in. The dimensions were smaller then I expected a 30" and the drawers are sticky and do not slide out nicely. I tried exchanging it, but it was turning out to be more of a hassle. All I wanted was to exchange for a bigger size and/or drawers that slide out smoothly. It's also been hard to get a hold of anyone to try and help at Kitchenaid.ca

Really enjoying this new refrigerator. We purchased it with size in consideration. Have a kitchen cabinet above and were constricted height wise. Super quick setup and cold quickly. Love the wine rack and three drawers for separation. Freezer seems perfect, however trying to find best place for ice cube tray. Do not like the stainless, but love the grey sides. Front smudges™¦but love the round, skinny modern handle. Wish It was available in black or another color. Overall™¦very pleased™¦quality product..

We purchased the refrigerator one month ago; however, the icemaker we purchased with the refrigerator was not delivered with the refrigerator. After several calls to the dealer, we are still waiting for a delivery date for the icemaker. Other than this, we like the refrigerator very much especially the increased size of the freezer compared to our previous refrigerator.

I'm pleased with the fridge so far. It runs fairlly quietly, plenty of internal space, nice clean esthetic. Only o complaint is the crisper drawers for fruit and veggies arf a lttle hard to close and they don't close smoothly.

I needed a smaller refrigerator, due to size opening. This was one of the only units in KitchenAid brand that would fit. I love the look of it and think the interior was well thought out. However....the quality of the crisper boxes are terrible. They don't slide without hanging up and one of the humidity adjustment tabs have already broken off. Very disappointing. Note that I am very OCD with how I treat my appliances....kid gloves and very gentle handling always. I did read negative reviews for the same issue before I bought, but I'm hesitant to believe everything I read in reviews. I should have listened....lol. Overall, I do like the refrigerator, but expect more from KitchenAid brand on quality of overall product.

I like the fridge, but arrived with a dent in the door- (Lowes compensated). The produce preserver was missing. I am told one is being shipped, but I haven't got it yet.
They shipped the replacement cartridges for the Produce Preserver, but not the unit they go in.

I™™m overall happy with my new Kitchenaid refrigerator.
Dissatisfied with the freezer compartment racks drawers. Wish the bottom basket was solid. Smaller items slip between the basket slats causing closure issues.

Compressor high pitched whine is LOUD. So loud I can hear it in another room with fans and tv on. It is awful. I've never been in a house that had a fridge this loud.
Called Whirlpool to try to get this warrantied. They agreed it was not normal but refuse to honor a warranty because it is still technically working.
I spent more money to buy a mid level fridge hoping to not have to deal with items breaking and instead deal with this faulty garbage. I will not be buying another whirlpool owned machine ever again.

I only have my new refrigerator 3 weeks but so far everything has been wonderful. I especially like the freezer on the bottom and the refrigerator on top. It's so quiet and I like that the freezer also has a light. The refrigerator door has a nice tight seal. For its size, it's very spacious. I would definitely recommend this refrigerator.

I purchased the frig as aleft-hand pull door. I received a right hand pull door. Appliance store ordered a left-hand pull door. Service person brought the new door but it was a right-hand pull door. Instruction state door can be flipped. It cannot be flipped due to poor engineering. Door buckets don't stay in the door when flipped further the outside door handle is not symmetrical. Whe door is flipped handle is too low. Please send design engineer back to school so they will oolong make such a stupid error

I bought this appliance a month ago and so far, so good, though I wish the drawers were a bit more sturdy. Plastic isn't the same as metal, and I fear that the crisper drawers and the wide drawer above will not break! I like the design with freezer below, a plus for one who doesn't wish to bend over far to reach items in the refrigerator section. I also appreciate the light in the freezer section. Some models no longer have this.

I bought this six months ago and was disappointed with the shelf height. The shelves can™™t be adjusted enough to make room for taller items such as a gallon of milk or bottles of juice. The drawers don™™t open or close easily.

This unit replaced a 15 year old contractor grade fridge in our condo. Due to size constraints and the fact that we didn™™t want a water dispenser or ice maker the options were limited. This fit the bill perfectly. Somewhat pricey yes, but it™™s a well built quality appliance from a very reputable company. In the first month of use, our electric bill was down $42.00 from the month before due to the Energy Star rating. No buyer™™s remorse here.

I tend to buy too much food, and this fridge is perfect for many reasons. First, the freezer is very spacious, with multiple levels that are easy to access. The baskets also make it simple to see everything inside at a glance. Second, I appreciate that the fridge itself isn™™t too large, which helps me avoid overpacking and buying more than I need. I also love the thoughtful organization, there™™s a dedicated drawer for cheese and prosciutto, along with two large drawers for vegetables. This fridge is great for a single person or a couple, but it may not be big enough for a family.

Bought because it was only fridge to fit my space. Came damaged from manufacturing. Awaiting new door that may take to 12 weeks ( already wired 4 weeks). Deli compartment doesn™™t slide smoothly. With handle in middle of the drawer width, opens unevenly & must be jockeyed back into position.

we bought 2 refrigerators to use side by side. They look good, better than I was expecting. However, the drawers do not move smoothly and the new smell is terrible. The ice is unusable because of the smell and taste. I have dumped the ice out over and over, and the taste is still there. I have baking soda in the refrigerators and the freezers, but it has not helped

I'd be interested to know how many of these units are sold with optional ice makers? It took me over 2 hours to install the ice maker and I'm in the plumbing trades. The water tube was compressed to an oval and would not slide down the foam insulation hole without reshaping it. Access to install the unit is limited by the drawers and very cumbersome to reach. These units should come with installed ice makers! The refrigeration unit is nice. The drawers and bins are cheap and stick. Good lighting in both refrigerator and freezer. Good separate controls for both top and bottom temp controls. Door and drawer close easily and securely. Unit runs quietly. I expected a little better quality on the interior components. Kitchenaid was once a step below a priemum brand, now its two steps below.

Bought this about 2 months ago, it's quiet, efficient, and I would give it 4 1/2 stars the only issue is the cheese- drawer doesn't pull out smoothly, all of the drawers are a bit "sticky". Other than that it's perfect, smaller than many, but perfect when you have walls and cabinets on each side.

Love the look and the size maximizes the space we had to work with. Freezer on bottom is a new better design and years of side by sides. Only negative is the plastic drawers feel a little flimsy, hope they hold up over the years ahead.

Just delivered it this morning, ordered sight unseen. Had cheap plastic shelves & drawers, drawers will come completely out if pulled too far, there are no stops! Lunch items drawer does not pull smoothly and you must be careful when using it, freezer has no solid drawers at all just wire type. Extremely unhappy with this expensive purchase. Thinking I can return it.

This is a very reliable fridge. The door seal is the strongest and best I've ever seen. It keeps food cold and fresh and is easy to clean. My only complaint is about the door handle of the fridge only, not the freezer. It loosens up and needs retightening at times with a hex wrench. Other than that its a great fridge.

I love my refrigerator. When it came time to replace my aging Frigidaire refrigerator I found only a few options in this, small-ish size. The others were less expensive but had names that didn't inspire confidence. I have other KitchenAid appliances which have been great. So I ordered this one and had to wait a while back when everybody was backed up. Well worth the wait.
This refrigerator hardly ever runs but it is always cold and there is always ice. Go figure. The old refrigerator was constantly running and was noisy. This one looks and feels very solid and well built. The door doesn't sag just because I put a quart of milk in it.
I have gotten so that I will buy anything that says,"KitchenAid" on it. Do they make pickup trucks?

I like the look of this fridge but find the bottom freezer compartment drawers have a lot less capacity then the top freezer compartment with shelves. And it doesn't have a tray for the ice.

We picked this model because of a height limitation. It odes what it is supposed to do, keeps cold things cols and frozen things frozen. The shelf/bracket design and configuration limit the number of tall bottles you can store and for us limits us to only having 3 shelves. The drawers are not sturdy, and take some manipulation to open. It is only a matter of time before they break. Literature is vague and not consistent with the model. Pleased with the LED lights.

Bought matching range and am disappointed with both pieces. 19 cubic Kitchenaid fridge doesn™™t begin to hold what my 18 cubic foot GE held. Fridge has grey top and sides, free-standing range has black. Look mis-matched in kitchen. Too much money spent to not be happy.

On September 16, 2020 I paid in FULL for this refrigerator from Appliance Alley in San Diego, CA. I as told delivery would be mid November so I cleaned out my freezer and took three baskets of meat and poultry to my parent's house until it arrived. It has now been almost a YEAR and that three baskets of meat and poultry are now spoiled with freezer burn. My refrigerator's delivery date has been delayed half a dozen times. From November to January to February, end of March when Kitchenaid promised they would be caught up with their backlog, April, June and now August and still NOTHING. If my old refrigerator had been dead I would be living with a dorm fridge for a YEAR. Kitchenaid doesn't seem to have problems getting parts for their $10,0000 refrigerators but I'm still waiting. They coul have bought a factory in Indiana or Michigan and retooled it to make all of the parts they need in the past year. Covid is no longer an excuse. Synchrony charges 30% interest on unpaid loans. I've "loaned" Kitchenaid $2,100 and they have not "paid me with my refrigerator. They now owe me $700 in "interest". I better get a FREE 6500 DC mixer in any color as interest on the refrigerator they have refused to deliver. Or I'll be offering a great Covid supply line story to 20/20, 60 Minutes, The New York Times and the Washington Post. Great "publicity" for Kitchenaid and their lack of customer service.

I shopped around for a refrigerator that would fit in my old house kitchen and didn't have an ice maker. Ordered September 16, 2020. I was promised delivery mid November, 2020. Then end of January 2021. Then end of mid February. Then I was told the backlog would be all caught up by March 31. I called mid April and delivery was scheduled for April 25, then canceled as my refrigerator still wasn't in. Now I am being told June 16th. Pandemic or no pandemic, this is an unacceptable delay. NINE MONTHS! At this rate I will have paid off this refrigerator before it is delivered. For this I should either get money back for the delay or a new mixer or something for the inconvenience. Thankfully my old refrigerator was not broken, as I feared as it is 25 years old. But if I don't get this refrigerator I am canceling this AND the microwave and I want my money back and will go to another manufacturer even if I can't get the model I want. If this is an example of the way Kitchenaid runs their business I have no confidence in the quality of their products or that they will stand by their warranty.

Bought this in 2020 in the middle of COVID lockdown. Saw complaints on other reviews about the cheap plastic shelves and drawers - well, they did not disappoint, I have broken plastic shelving that is to hold up the drawers. All three drawers do not close as the top two sag onto the lower third one. Too bad - otherwise is still quiet and works fine.

Dont buy KitchenAidkitchenaid products I warn you all. Here is the update on our third time dealing with a broke down 2 year old fridge we bought. Second time this happened I lost 220oz of breastmilk this time our fridge has been broken a week already and service came out today and fridge still does not work and part has to be ordered which could mean another week or 2 without a fridge. After working a 12 hour shift during a pandemic at the hospital I come home to hungry 3 year old asking for a yogurt snack and a 1 year old demanding a bottle of milk. What does KitchenAid respond to me in private message, basically that its the third party warrenty companies issue. No ownership that they have a crap product or to make the right wrong. I had an early family Thanksgiving dinner planned this Saturday since i have to work the Holiday...how do you suppose I do that with no fridge? KitchenAid takes no responsibility in ensuring their customer issues are resolved. Dont purchase their products it will cause nothing but a headache. They should overnight their stupid little part and get this crap fixed. Dont bother contacting them by phone its a 5 hr on hold game and run around.

The refrigerator comes with almost everything--even a wine bottle holder; however, it is missing an ice tray shelf (we did not opt for an automatic ice maker). For example, an ice tray shelf at the top of the freezer would avoid having to put sloshing ice trays in the freezer baskets.

I Bought this Fridge as I also purchased a KitchenAid Convection Oven recently and really like the sleek look and the "Brushed Nickel" appearance. (Not all Stainless Steel Fridges have a great finish, in fact some look really cheap). Not the case with this unit. It looks amazing and is very quiet, and after talking to other people about their new fridges a common complaint was that they were quite noisy. Also doesn't show alot of fingerprints, which is also very good.
The only improvement that could be made is the "Crisper" and "Pantry" storage doors are quite "flimsy" in their feel. KitchenAid could up their game on these parts of the Refrigerator as everything else is good quality.

I just love my new KitchenAid refrigerator. Especially the cold cut and cheese drawer. It comes in so handy for me. I buy lots of different cheeses and love that I have a place to store them. I can't begin to tell you about my drawer freezer....best thing you ever did for me. Overall this is my best product of yours ever. We love our new refrigerator, I found it so much different than my 9 year old GE. The freezer has so much room and it freezes quickly. The veggie and fruit bins are amble, shelving is easy to clean. We keep our milk on the bottom bin on the door and it is always cold. Stainless steel crane easily
