Ongoing Issues with New Refrigerator Purchase.

The brand new refrigerator purchased from Home Depot was installed and turned on but within a few days I noticed it wasnt cooling. The technician diagnosed the issue as a leaking compressor. After attempting to replace the compressor another problem with the evaporator was discovered. It has now been over two weeks of repair attempts and the refrigerator is still not working. Extremely disappointing experience for a brand new appliance.

Zero clearance = max room

The zero clearance hinges plus the counter-depth allowed us to maximize space and have a fridge that acts bigger than it is. Our kitchen gained more fridge space and more floor space. The doors open well and a perk of being counter-depth is that items dont get pushed to the back and out-of-sight. The visibility is much better than our old fridge. The fridge works well with the app has great ice-making and the filtered water spigot on the inside fills anything fast. Like another reviewer mentioned the doors dont close with much authority but the bell will remind you if its open.

It keeps temperatures consistently cold and stable and it runs so quietly that I barely notice it. I thought the integrated recessed door handles might be awkward but in daily use they feel completely natural. The exterior design is clean and elegant and the transparent compartment doors make it easy to see whats inside at a glance. I also appreciate the side-mounted thermometerits a simple useful touch. If I had one minor critique its that the doors dont have that firm snap-shut feel the close is a bit on the loose side. Overall though the performance design and convenience easily outweigh that small nithighly recommended

The freezer is deep but the top drawer does not fully slide back to give full access to the bottom drawer. The location of the door handle pocket on the bottom of the French doors took getting used to. I prefer on the side of the doors.

Counter Depth MAX Fridge

My husband and I are absolutely blown away by this fridge. We upgraded from a standard traditional fridge and this feels like an instant upgrade. The fridge is not much bigger than our old one in cubic feet in fact they are nearly the same but the inside seems so much more spacious. We have tons of space. The ice machine seems to be great it makes little perfect cubed ice. There is a setting called icePLUS to put ice making into overdrive we tried it out for the first 24 hours so get the freezer down to temp faster. We cant believe the amount of ice it makes right away within the first day. Theres also the option to connect to the LG app. The app tells you when your door has been open for too long. You can change the temperature and the ice amount. If something were to go wrong the app will tell you. It has smart diagnosis capability. One down side was that our fridge was delivered poorly with two dents in the front right door. But with that being said LG is sending us a replacement of the right door. So hopefully this will be taken care of. We have been waiting a week and a half now for the replacement door but they said it would take 7-10 days. Hopefully having the replacement installed will not be as much of a headache as the fridge delivery itself was. Loving our new fridge so far.

Great slim fridge

We had similar fridge from 2018 and recently replaced with this one. Its slimmer but has more capacity. House looks more updated since we changed the fridge. Spacious shelves make us store more food like kimchi and fruits. I can barely hear any noises from the fridge. I recommend this fridge for small houses or apartment or 2nd fridge as well. It holds more food while hold less space.

It is a great size the clear drawers and shelves make things very easy to see and find. When it makes ice sometimes it makes a little noise but its quick and barely noticeable. the filtered water feature is fantastic. The freezer drawer is a pull out and its best feature is that the first layer drawer pulls out with it. It keeps food cold and the freezer keeps food frozen. The freezer is deceiving from the outside it looks like it wont hold much but in reality it holds a great deal of frozen food. I think my favorite feature which might seem silly is that it makes ice on its own. We are never without clean fresh ice. A huge plus As far as energy use I cant really comment yet but its so quiet I doubt it uses much energy.

One standout feature is the thoughtful door hinge designunlike my previous refrigerators I no longer need to pull the unit forward just to open the doors fully without hitting the wall or countertop. I also appreciate the plush feel and the counter-depth design which allows me to maximize my kitchen space and create more room in the dining area. My daughter really likes the spacious interior though she would have preferred more dividers in the drawer to make organization easier. My mom is still adjusting to the new style since shes used to refrigerators with external handles. She also wishes the left door would open and close more smoothly without shifting the right door and she misses the feature where a shelf could partially slide back to accommodate larger or taller containers. Personally while I would have preferred the convenience of external water and ice access I wanted to try the setup with the water dispenser inside the refrigerator and the ice maker and bin in the freezer. My hope is that the ice maker proves more durable as that has been the most frequent issue in my past refrigerators. As new LG customers we are optimistic that this refrigerator marks the beginning of a lasting and positive relationship with the brand.

Irecently purchased this refrigerator and overall Im very satisfied with its performance and design. The cooling system is efficient keeping both fresh and frozen items at the right temperature consistently. Fruits and vegetables stay crisp for longer and the freezer prevents frost buildup which makes organization easier

Missing key features

I like the size of the refrigerator and it fits nicely within the space. The zero clearance is great This refrigerator replaced a previous LG that offered more amenities that I will definitely miss. For instance this LG LF25Z6211S refrigerator does NOT have humidity control on the crisper drawers the door shelves are NOT adjustable the ability to reposition the shelving is very limited and results in a lot of wasted space there is NOT an on/off switch for the ice maker and there is NOT an adjustable divider in the freezer. I wish I had looked a little closer at the pictures and asked more questions of the chat assistant it likely would have resulted in my choosing another model.

The counter depth of this refrigerator looks very streamlined in our kitchen. The interior space is much more than we previously had and that allows us to shop easily for our big family. The pull out drawer is especially convenient for our kids to get a snack and it is well placed. Having the water feature on the inside contributes to the streamlined look from the outside. While we wish the doors would open wider the drawers in the doors are very useful for drinks and condiments.

Space Saving Efficient Great Technology

Space Saving Technology Forward Materials could feel sturdier. We have only had this fridge one day. The cooling is efficient and we notice that its icing operation is quiet. Where this product shines is how it can easily fit small doors and small elevators. We put this in a galley kitchen and easily have 3-4 inches more space due to its smaller foot print. We do notice it having marginally less capacity compared to our older fridge but the design makes up for that. The bottom drawer is clear from the top allowing us to see everything stored including those behind the shelves. The only thing I would change are sturdier shelving and a more confidence inspiring latch where the shelves attach to the fridge.

This appliance is actually pretty cool. I loved all of the features it has. Very sleek looking and the sizing is perfect. I have this in my garage as an extra and I always get compliments on it. I am genuinely pleased with my purchase of this refrigerator. It makes my kitchen look sleek and modern. The door handles underneath are great. I love the features that alert you to the fridges ability and the apps usability. The refrigerator has a lot of space to organize food and keep items within eyesight. The freezer also has three compartments giving you lots of space to store food. The water filter is excellent my only dissatisfaction is how slow it takes to make ice. This refrigerator is fantastic and I recommend it to anyone looking for an upgrade.

Mixed Feelings

The refrigerator was delivered 24 hours ago. It looks nice and it fits. My main reason for choosing this model was the zero clearance hinges and the lack of handles. One side is up against a wall. The right door opens into the door to my laundry room. My previous refrigerator was a side-by-side and I needed to keep my laundry room door open to open the refrigerator door wide enough to open my crisper doors. This LG solves that problem. However there are some drawbacks. The doors on the LG allow for the interior drawers to open when the door are at 90 degrees which is perfect but they dont open much wider than 90 degrees and the drawers cant be removed without lifting the full size shelf above it. This is a little bit cumbersome but it can be done. I read through the manual and didnt find these instructions. They should definitely be added. If the drawers were just a little bit narrower they would clear the door. Because this refrigerator is made for tight spaces I was disappointed to learn that there isnt an option for a 90 degree hinge limiter/restrictor. I hope they consider offering one for this model soon. I would love to add one to my right door that opens against the wall. Another thing we had to fix ourselves was the entire refrigerator would pull forward when opening the doors and roll back when closing the doors. My husband had to put the leveling feet down to lift the refrigerator off the rollers. This seems like something that should have been done when it was installed. Also the left door closes really hard and rattles everything inside the refrigerator. I cant speak to the quality yet as I just received it yesterday. Time will tell.

Excellent sleek refrigerator for tight spaces

We just got this refrigerator delivered and installed at my sons condo this morning. He has a tight situation where there is a wall on the right side of the cabinet opening. The total usuable space he has is 37.5 inches. There is a regular cabinet on the left of the opening and the wall on the right. The refrigerator opens fully on the left and opens greater than 90 degrees on the right. It doesnt feel crampted at all. All drawers fully extend. I am not sure that the drawers on the right could be removed for cleaning but that is minor considering the space confinements and the lack of suitable refrigerators on the market currently that would work for him. The refrigerator is sleek and well lighted. The water dispenser has a very nice flow and doesnt drip once you remove your glass. The freezer feels roomy. The refrigerator is extremely quiet. Even though there are no pocket handles on the top--it is easy to open the doors from the top. He is tall so this feels like a more natural way to open the doors. The shelves and drawers were carefully taped and protected along with the outside of the doors and freezer drawer. No damage. All packing material was easily removed including the exterior clear plastic covering the outside of the refrigerator. In fact I didnt even realize that there was clear plastic on the outside--my son noticed it. The LG delivery men were excellent and efficient. We are extremely pleased with the refrigerator and the delivery experience.
