Terrible Customer Service - BEWARE

Giving a one star for the terrible awful customer service LG customer service is the worst on hold forever hung up on transferred only to be put on hold again forever. When I was able to reach a live person was asked to upload video of the dryer noise it was making just to get more run around after 10 phone calls never could get a technician to come out. Best Buy ended up letting me exchange the unit.

This has a large drum which allows water to move between the clothes. Theyre not compacted like in a normal dryer. The cycles theres no assistance. Theres no instructions as to what cycle does what. Which is disappointing. Not much noise. I think the performance is outstanding.. I cant find anything on the different cycles information or explanation. Thats the only thing I can put down negative.

My caregiver finished off my last washer-dryer combo. It was a very dark time in my life until I decided not to be afraid to buy one of the best brands ever LG. I wanted the pedestal for the dryer but I had to return it and get the absolute largest one. For the washer I got the Side Kick I also heard from my social media family that there was a remote that can work with it. I found it and it does work I only had two codes: UL unbalanced and CL Child Lock lol I locked myself out but you know what? All I need is my new LG. Im very happy about the cost. I bought it in 2024. I believe that was a good move since this individual was not helping rather she really hurt me but today? LG keeps me very healthy Steam kills germs and dust mites LGs efficiency is like no other. When I needed a technician for the unbalanced he fixed it and even educated me further about how much detergent to use He has a Thinq too and has small kids I should have my combo for a long time past how long it takes my small budget to pay for it Its so QUIET It has so many choices to wash especially with my Side Kick I like it because I dont have to use the big washer for small items.It does so much from the smallest to the largest. And when I saw the Side Kick I thought: WOW. you dont have to use the large one It makes it even more efficient Anyone who purchased this Thinq pair because they were in the market for one they truly beat the high 2025 prices. I researched the price. Its higher in 2025.

Some Good. Some Bad. Probably Wouldnt Buy Again

POSITIVES Large capacity Turbo Wash effectively saturates large items such as comforters drain pump mostly quiet and works intermittently rather than constantly making grinding/pumping noise during drain spin works gently to briefly toss laundry to remove excess water before going into high speed spin NEGATIVES NORMAL cycle unpredictable. May perform a wash and one rinse thats insufficient. May rinse twice but not sure if thats based on load size or soil level setting. Cant tell if you need to set extra rinse until time is displayed after sensing and machine starts. Then have to cancel and restart with extra rinse. Way too much suds left in final rinse on almost all settings even after reducing HE detergent manufacturersrecommended amounts by half. Seems to be worse with Turbo Wash in NORMAL cycle as jets spew milky rinse water onto clothes and spin action seems to oddly increase suds and drop suds back onto laundry. Extra rinses barely reduce residual suds.

We got it Sept 22. After less than 3 years it stopped work. It doing cycles and than during spinning it takes water again and again ofter a few hours it shows SUD error even on empty load without any detergent.

This machine is whisper quiet. Clothes come out very clean considering the minimal amount of water used during the cycle. Hooks up with my phone effortlessly and alerts me when the cycle is complete. Hot water inlet valve was stuck in the open position from the factory. Service tech came out to replace. He had the wrong part. He cursed a lot. He complained he could not reposition the washer because he had a bad back and on top of that he had terrrible body odor. That was four days ago no word on the new part or when/if someone is coming back.

This is a warning about my experience with my LG dryer. Ive never written a comment before but I felt it important to share my recent experience. I bought the LG washer-dryer combo for its larger capacity hoping to wash large comforters at home instead of at a public laundromat. The salesperson assured me that LG quality had improved. The dryer was installed without issues but we didnt use it for a couple of days. When we finally did the dryer made a persistent rattling noise when closing the door indicating something was loose inside. To ensure this wasnt normal I tested the same model at other stores and found no similar issues. I reported the problem to the local store a week later requesting a replacement but they only offered to send a technician to disassemble my brand new dryer. Who wants their new dryer taken apart immediately? Hoping for a better resolution I contacted the LG Presidential Office but they offered the same unsatisfactory response. My main complaint is that the dryer was defective upon installation and I shouldnt have to deal with a disassembled or rattling unit. My advice is to thoroughly inspect the product before installation. Once its plugged in and used it becomes your problem to fix or live with. LG has lost a customer.

I placed the order for the washer and dryer on August 31st and a week later I received a phone call saying the delivery was delayed. I called 4 times between September 6-24th and asked about the delivery. I also sent various emails. They canceled my order without my permission and when I called they told me that it was cancelled per customer request. I have no idea what happened to my order. I waited almost 3 weeks for the delivery and now if I go buy it at the stores it will cost me more since I had bought it on Labor Day sale. Their customer service is the worst. I owned LG products for over 10 years but I will move on to a better brand now. I am so disappointed.

After suffering through two Maytag washers failing in three years both Commercial Gradesupposedly and Maytags abysmal response to repairing them we went with this LG We could not be happier First it works and actually cleans our clothes something the last Maytag couldnt do at all and secondly it is built to last. We had a similar LG washer several years back but it went with the house when we sold it because the buyer liked the LG washer and dryer which we inherited when we bought the house and loved them Why we tried another brand is unfathomable in hindsight. Best Washing Machine Ever

I bought the WM8900HBA washing machine a month ago to replace my 10 year old LG front loader that was damaged by the movers during the move to our current home. Wow what a nice and efficient washing machine. I love that it is WIFI as it allows the ability to download even more washing features. Love love love this machine.

Scam lies and incomplete delivery

I bought my machines off of the LG website in hopes of getting them sooner because my units were destroyed by soot damage. They were in stock and a delivery date was set. No communication from LG. On said delivery date the window passed and no communication. I called them and they told me they would write a ticket. Now this can take up to 48 hours. I asked for a manager. There were none on a Monday at LG. Total lies. I explained I was already on the list for delivery and the machines should be on the truck. They confirmed I was on the list and tried to put me in a holding pattern again with a ticket. I waited a week already and I needed a washer and dryer immediately. They said the installers were still working on their first visit and they would see if there was time. I told them to call the company and confirm they are coming.if not today first thing tomorrow morning. I waited forever on the phone and got the runaround again. Telling me they would resubmit my delivery date. No. I refused. They came back and said they will be there within the hour. Over an hour later 2 men in a Penske truck show up. No ids. No LG logo. No company logo. I have nothing that comes with the units. The manuals yes but not the brackets or inserts. They werent installed 100 correctly and they told me they were just waiting around all day for a job to install. They were not at a clients house. They did not have an earlier appointment. They were wonderful installers and it wasnt their fault. They werent going to take my old units although I set it up for them to be taken. That was a few phone calls and finally they took them. I love the machines. I got a call asking how my experience and is everything ok. I told them it was horrible and I was brushed off. First time LG buyer last time LG buyer. I was just about to order more things because of the entire house soot damage but now I am going to purchase an entire house full of appliances and computers from another company. I was treated like I was insignificant and unworthy of their business. $2500 spent on my units and I was treated like trash.

I have had my LG turbo wash front load washer since July 17 2024. I am very happy with this machine the cycles are actually shorter than the machine I replaced and I can customize the cycles to my needs. my clothes dont get beat up and the spin cycle is amazing. The clothes are barely damp after the spin cycle. The steam option is nice for stubborn stains. The machine is easy to operate and does a great job of cleaning. The cleaning cycle for this machine is easy to cycle for periodic cleaning.

We brought this two months ago. Within the second month one piece came out and the door wouldnt close. So we called Conns and they gave us the run around. . So it took about another month we finally got a call from LG. They ordered the parts and made my appointment and came fix our washer. The guy did a good and awesome job. Were very proud to own this product when we have service like you

Died after 7 years second one broke after 3 month

I had this washer for only 7 years with no problems but then it died and had to replaced. I went ahead and bought the same model again so it would still match my dryer. Big mistake. 3 months in and the door broke rendering it unusable. Its been 12 days and its still not fixed and my LG employee repair man has been awful to deal with. He wont respond to any of my polite texts asking for an update. The last communication I received was 8 days ago. I will never buy LG again after this horrible experience.

Service struggles

Main reson for purchase was the drum size to accomidate comforters and larger loads. That is nice to have. We have had the wasing machine 4 months and had issues already. Took over 3 weeks to identify what needed to be fixed 3 trips by service team and several parts replaced. There were no error codes ever displayed so made diagnosing the issue that much harder. Time waiting for parts was too long at 9 days once it was determine what part needed to be replaced. When calling LG on part status communicatio was very challenging and they were not honest. Told me they delivered the part and scheduled the service for that Friday. The service provider did not get the part until the next Tuesday and LG does not schedule their customer appointments. Frustrated with the run around Certain features like spin dry only are not available for selection.

Leaking after a year

WM8900HBA washer 7/14/2024

I like how big it is and how quickly it washes clothes. However after about a year of having it anytime I use the fabric softener it leaks water pretty significantly. So I am no longer able to use liquid fabric softener when I wash my clothes.

Ok washer but not worth the overprice

I liked the selection of cycle choices. However some selection wont allow specific settings like: hotter higher spin etc App needs user experience improvements. For example remote start...it was limited for child safety but there should be a way to disable it if you dont have a child. Excellent quality washer but the plastic door just dropped my review to average quality.

No Delivery Awful Customer Service

I would like to review this product but LG did not deliver my washer dryer on the scheduled delivery date. Further there has been no communication as to when it will be delivered. LG customer service is unable to tell me where the washer/dryer is and when I can expect it to be delivered. I have missed work to be home for the delivery....
